So this weekend so far has been awesome. Let me just recount the events:

Friday was a birthday arty for Goober (one of my roomates, for those of you who don't know). A bunch of us went to his house and had a good time. Played Cosmic Encounter, swam in the pool, played Halo, ate lots of candy and pizza and cake and watched Blade Runner.

Afterwards I drove Ian to Worcester in exchange for a place to sleep. After spending an hour or so texting Meghan and trying to fall asleep with a stuffed nose (complete with coming down from a desk-bunk bed several times to blow my nose) I finally got to sleep.

Today, Saturday, was WPI Commencement. I decided to go and was constantly checking my phone to see in Meghan had texted or tried to contact me so we could meet up. She did just as graduation ended, so I said my goodbyes to people and the seniors and left to see her.

I hung out with her and some of her friends for most of the day, and we'd occasionally delve into "stupidly cute" status. Which I enjoyed. When I drove her to Worcester we sang "I'll Cover You" from Rent, duet style and all (I was Collins :P). I was sad I had to leave and come home, since I was being expected at home tonight. As we said bye...she made sure it would be a...frustrating...trip for me. Ugh. That's a good "ugh" though. :P

Then I drove home singing random stuff from my iPod to pass the time. When I passed New Haven I drove into a thunderstorm, which was super wicked and made me feel badass.

Now I'm here. Really tired but texting Meghan again. Heh.

So now I'm out of classes. Which is kinda awesome. No longer working late at night on projects that I get tired of after 3 weeks. However, I'm happy that I got an A on my IQP (and is currently showcased here: http://gompeisgames.wpi.edu). I got a C in IMGD though :/ Mostly cause I bombed the final. Got an A in theater, which was a lot of fun.

Speaking of theater, I'm Assistant Stage Manager for the show going up in A-Term, Smoke Signals. It's actually 3 plays (which I've yet to read) and they're all crazy and weird and interesting.

Now that I have time I'm trying to get back into writing. I have this gimmick idea that I'm trying to work with to write something that resembles a story. It's kinda dystopian future-esque, so I've been looking at 365tomorrows for examples on how to write it. I just do want to rip of the norms of dystopian future fiction: severely reduced right, strong political overtones, etc. I also have ideas for a character that's a cute robot. It plays a prerecorded yawn when it wakes from sleep mode! I want one.

I also just picked up Overclocked by Cory Doctorow. I read a little bit of it in the store, and it looks awesome.

I've been constantly tired. I'm about to fall into my second nap today.

Why, yes. Twitter is replacing my LJ.

Not really. I'm just lazy.

I need a project to do over the summer. I might make a Flash game. Or a wesbite. Or write something. Or start a webcomic. I can't decide! Help. >.
